Well it’s the first of March today, so it won’t be long before we get the lighter evenings and it gets so much warmer. We are certainly going to notice the difference this year in the UK as we have had such a long and cold winter.
So do you have any Easter Break ideas? We normally have some lovely warm days in April even in the UK, so maybe you should consider hiring a campervan. There’s quite a lot happening in the UK, what with The Boat Race and the UK tourist season kicking in at the beginning of April. Have a quick ‘Google’ for ‘things to do at Easter’ and you will realise that the UK is set ready for the fact that people are not going to want to go abroad quite as much this year, as the Pound is still very weak against the Euro.
Personally I’m off to Pentewan Sands Holiday Park in South Cornwall. It has a wonderful sandy beach set between two headlands making it both safe and sheltered. The clean sea is ideal for swimmers, great for all types of watersports and sailing. There’s a kids club, climbing frame, tennis courts, arcade and plenty of outdoor activities for the young ones. For the adults there is a beach club with its bars and restaurant.
